Day 1 Quito – Baños

Stop for famous Ecuadorian ice cream on the way to Baños

Arrive in Baños, home to steaming volcanoes, explosive waterfalls and hot thermal springs

Day 2: Free day in Baños or add our Jungle Tour

Enjoy a free day in Baños, the adventure playground of Ecuador, you can go bungee jumping, rafting, or take a bike ride. OPTIONAL: full-day tour to the Amazon Jungle, the most biodiverse region in the world, for just a small additional cost. More details below.

Day 3: Free day in Baños or add our Chimborazo tour

Enjoy a free day in Baños, the adventure playground of Ecuador, you can go bungee jumping, rafting, or take a bike ride. OPTIONAL, join our full-day tour to Chimborazo Volcano, the highest volcano in Ecuador for just a small additional cost.

Day 4 Baños – Alausí

Pick up in Baños, at the Basílica.Pick up / drop off for the ones that want to stay in Riobamba

Enjoy a traditional breakfast of the Puruhá culture, where you’ll experience the Limpia ceremony

*If traveling Monday: Extended visit to Pucará Tambo and Balbanera church

*If traveling Thursday: visit to the traditional market of Guamote

Guidance at Ozogoche, explore more than 45 lagoons and spotting highland wildlife amid landscapes

Day 5 Alausí – Cuenca

Meeting point: Alausí Train Station

Venture to the Ecuadorian Inca ruins of Ingapirca for a tour of this site.Visit the Biblian’s Sanctuary with its majestic location high on the mountain and taste traditional food

Drop off at Parque Calderón in Cuenca

Day 6:Free day in Cuenca or add our tours around the city

Enjoy a free day in Cuenca, Ecuador’s cultural gem, you can go explore its streets, museums or its rivers.OPTIONAL tour to Gualaceo and Chordeleg or our afternoon tour to Pumapungo ruins and the Turi viewpoint, for just a small additional cost. More details below.

Day 7 Cuenca – Montañita

Pick up in Cuenca Parque Calderón

Guidance at El Cajas National Park for a wet and wild adventure among 200 lakes

Experience how to create your own chocolate at a local cacao hacienda and stop for lunch

Arrive in Guayaquil to drop off/pick up those who wish to stay here

Stop in a local community to learn how to make the famous Panama Hats with paja toquilla

Drop off in Montañita at Los Caminantes

Day 8:

Free day in Montañita / Puerto López or add our tour to Los Frailes

Enjoy a free day in Montañita or Puerto López.
